Hotel Lilla Roberts *****

Located right in the heart of the Design District of Helsinki, Hotel Lilla Roberts, member of the “Small Luxury Hotels”, offers an elegant environment - a simultaneous dichotomy of the modern, and rich with history.
The history of the building is rich and fascinating: it was designed by architect Selim A. Lindqvist in 1909 as a power plant and administrational building and was completed in 1931 as planned by Helsinki’s official architect Gunnar Taucher. Then it has been for several years the residence of the Police department, before the recent renovation that followed the great project and design work made by interior architect Jaakko Puro and studio Puroplan.
In the stylish and spacious rooms you can relax on the confortable and particular rocking chairs Colimbas, made with fine materials and perfectly matching with the atmosphere of the location.
